• Rostov State Pedagogical University has translated my presentation "Technology for Teachers Training through Distance Education in India" at Opening Gates in Teacher Education Virtual Conference held by Mofet Institute, Israel from 12-14 February, 2001, and published it in the "Izvestia" journal. It is the journal of the South Russian Affiliate of the Russian Academy of Education. The "Izvestiya" provides a unique forum of the leading scientists of Rostov State Pedagogical University involved in the study of history of teacher education origin and development, as well as science of educational science, contents and technologies of personality-centered education in teacher training institutions. The journal also contains the discussion of fundamental issues of the theory of education conceptualization, its terminology, humanization and humanitarization of educational process, modernization of its contents on the basis of personality-centered approach.
